
How to Make Delicious Chicken Pot Pie!
Ingridients:
- 1 box of refrigerated pie crust
- 1/3 cup of butter
- 1/3 cup chopped onions
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 1/2 cups chunks of cooked chicken
- 2 1/2 cup of preferred vegetables
- 9-Inch Pie Pan
Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Melt butter over medium heat in sauce pan
- Add onion to saucepan and cook for 2 minutes , stir frequently until desired softness is achieved
- Stir in flour,salt,and pepper
- Gradually add milk and chicken broth to mix, cook until mixture is bubbly and thick
- Stir in chicken and vegetables, remove saucepan from heat until ingridients are fully cooked
- Fill the crust-lined pie pan with a spoon
- Add in top crust and seal edges, cut slits into several places in crust
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until crust is golden brown
- Cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent browning (recommend to be done 15-20 minutes before finished)
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
