How to Make Delicious Chicken Pot Pie!


  • 1 box of refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped onions
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 1/2 cups chunks of cooked chicken
  • 2 1/2 cup of preferred vegetables
  • 9-Inch Pie Pan


  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Melt butter over medium heat in sauce pan
  3. Add onion to saucepan and cook for 2 minutes , stir frequently until desired softness is achieved
  4. Stir in flour,salt,and pepper
  5. Gradually add milk and chicken broth to mix, cook until mixture is bubbly and thick
  6. Stir in chicken and vegetables, remove saucepan from heat until ingridients are fully cooked
  7. Fill the crust-lined pie pan with a spoon
  8. Add in top crust and seal edges, cut slits into several places in crust
  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes until crust is golden brown
  10. Cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent browning (recommend to be done 15-20 minutes before finished)
  11. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
