How to Make Mouth-Watering Hamburger


  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef (TIP: lean beef will help hold the hamburger together)
  • 1 onion
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter 
  • 1.5 tsp of salt & pepper
  • 3 carrots
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • ketchup and/or gravy
  • grill/oven
  • Fig &Leaf 2.5lb Takeout Pans with Board Lids (recommend using 6 pieces)

*This recipe is for a family meal!*


  1. Preheat oven or grill to 350°F and spray Fig &Leaf 2.5lb Takeout Pans with non-stick cooking spray
  2. Cut potatoes into thin disc-like shapes
  3. Layer the potatoes on the bottom of the takeout pans 
  4. Cut onions into thin slices and layer over the potatoes
  5. Add butter, salt, and pepper to pans
  6. Cut carrots into thin slices and layer into pans (thinner the better!)
  7. Divide patties into 6 even portions
  8. Knead the meat and form into hamburger shapes
  9. Add patties on top of the vegetables in the pan
  10. Cover with lid (shiny side towards food!)
  11. Cook in grill/oven for 40-60mins (recommend to check around 30min mark)
  12. After checking to see all the ingredients are fully cooked, remove pans from oven or grill and rest on heat-safe surface (*PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION, PANS WILL BE VERY HOT WHEN REMOVED FROM OVEN OR GRILL)
  13. Add ketchup or gravy on top
  14. ENJOY!
